The Emmett Police Department is located in the heart of the Gem County valley with the City of Emmett being the county seat. The Emmett Police Department fields 24 hour patrol coverage, a full time investigations team, one narcotic K-9 team, a reserve officer program and a citizen’s on patrol program.

We are still receiving a large amount of old/ unused prescription pills each month. We receive an average anywhere from 4,000 to 7,000 pills per month. Please remember to not include any sharp objects and to not remove the prescription name when you bring them in for disposal.

The drug drop off will be from 8:30 AM until Noon on the above dates at the Emmett Police Department, 501 East Main Street.

The Emmett Police Department would like to remind our citizens to take a little extra time and lock your vehicle and house doors. We are having an increase in thefts from homes and vehicles and your help in this can make a difference.

 

 

 

Remember that all dogs  over 8 weeks old that are housed in Emmett are required to have a city dog license.

Licenses can be purchased at Emmett City Hall, 501 East Main Street.
